We’ve got something going on every week at The Chequers - from live music every Friday & Saturday, to our popular Quiz Night every Wednesday at 8pm.     Friday 28th August | 8pm: Glen Dean and The Allstars

    Glen Dean and The Allstars is a high octane 1950’s rock’n’roll and rockabilly cover band.

    Saturday 29th August | 8pm: On The Note

    Their setlist spans classic hits from the 1950s all the way to modern pop and rock anthems.

    Sunday 30th August | 8pm: Route 259

    They play a lively mix of blues and rock.

    SEPTEMBER

    Friday 4th September | 8pm: Stormy T & Bluesmans Lane

    Traditional rhythm and blues, jump and swing blues and classic blues and funk.

    Saturday 5th September | 8pm: DJ Kerri & Sax

    Join us for our DJ and sax night, dance tunes and party vibes all night long!

    Friday 11th September | 8pm: The Aerodynamics

    A five piece rock and pop covers band.

    Saturday 12th September | 8pm: Friends of Reason

    Known for performing upbeat, multi-instrumental renditions of well-known hits, ranging from classic folk laments to modern rock covers.

    Friday 18th September | 8pm: Plastic Free Band

    Playing music by Hall & Oates, Prince, The Beatles, James Brown, INXS, Stevie Wonder, Rolling Stones and more!

    Saturday 19th September | 8pm: Joyride

    Female fronted cover band, they specialise in a wide range of cover songs, including modern and classic party hits, rock, pop and indie.

    Friday 25th September | 8pm: The Woodcutters

    Woodcutters are a Sussex-based acoustic duo and trio, playing versions of the classics through to decent stuff from recent years.

    Saturday 26th September | 8pm: Dan Olsen

    London-based, Faroe Islands-born singer-songwriter and producer Dan Olsen primarily performs in the Acoustic Pop, Folk, and Singer-Songwriter genres. Often compared to artists like Jack Johnson and Ed Sheeran, he blends acoustic guitar and vocals with indie-pop and pop-rock elements.

    OCTOBER

    Friday 2nd October | 8pm: The Hysterics

    The Hysterics are a four-piece desert-rock and indie-pop function band based in Kent, UK. Known for their high-energy, guitar-driven sets.

    Saturday 3rd October | 8pm: UNIT 48

    UNIT 48 is a unique Kent based funky, soulful, groovy and somewhat jazzy band!

    Friday 9th October | 8pm: Ross Black

    Dark blues. Known for his smoky vocals, raw emotion and commanding guitar work!

  • Quiz night every other Wednesday at 8pm!

  • Join us with DJ Kerri Layton as she spings the biggest floor-fillers, feel-good classics and Ibiza hits, accompanied by a live saxophonist bringing an extra layer of energy to the party.
