We’ve got something going on every week at The Chequers - from live music every Friday & Saturday, to our popular Quiz Night every Wednesday at 8pm. We also host special events throughout the year, including seasonal parties and comedy nights, so there’s always a reason to join us! Check out our events happening soon below.

    UNIT 48 is a Kent-based band specialising in funky, soulful and jazzy live music!

    Saturday 4th July | 8pm: Joe West

    Country/indie singer. You'll hear music from the likes of Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, James Morrison, Teddy Swims and more!

    Friday 10th July | 8pm: Route 259

    Blues and rock band with a sprinkle of funk!

    A band from Maidstone, playing hits from the 60s to the present day!

    Saturday 11th July | 8pm: The Resolve

    Introducing The Resolve – indie rock sensation! With a distinctive sound that's impossible to ignore. Their music is all about big songs that pack a punch, choruses that'll have you singing along for days and riffs that will send shivers down your spine!

    Friday 17th July | 8pm: The Upsetters

    A unique covers band not to be missed with jaw dropping lead vocals and harmonies to match!

    Saturday 18th July | 8pm: The Hysterics

    A popular four-piece alternative band based in Kent, known for their high-energy, rock-oriented sound with desert-rock influences similar to Kings of Leon and Queens of the Stone Age.

    Friday 24th July | 8pm: The JL Collective

    The JL Collective are a 4 piece covers band serving up dance floor fillers and timeless classics.

    Saturday 25th July | 8pm: The Patinas

    Female fronted 4 piece party band based in Kent, guaranteed to get the party started here at The Chequers!

    Friday 31st July | 8pm: Duvet Dogs

    The Duvet Dogs are a Classic Rock band based in Crowborough known for performing high-energy covers. Their genre blends classic rock with elements of punk and glam, featuring popular hits from the 60s to today.

    AUGUST

    Friday 7th August | 8pm: Brothers From Another Cover

    Brothers From Another Cover are back at The Chequers - a fun, high-energy function band on a mission to entertain.

    Saturday 8th August | 8pm: Relativity Duo

    A duo covering from the swinging 60s to today's chart-toppers!

    Friday 14th August | 8pm: Power Anthems Rock Band

    A rock anthems band that brings the biggest anthems and energy right to us at The Chequers!

    Saturday 15th August | 8pm: Christy

    Christy O'Donnell's music blends indie, rock and acoustic. The Scottish singer-songwriter and actor - who performs under the mononym Christy - pairs dynamic, expressive vocals with acoustic guitars to create a stripped-back yet deeply soulful sound.

    Friday 21st August | 8pm: Turmoil

    Turmoil is a popular four-piece band specialising in pop punk, rock and indie covers.

    Saturday 22nd August | 8pm: Ross Black

    A dark blues artist based in Surrey, known for his powerful voice, raw emotion and commanding guitar work.

    Friday 28th August | 8pm: Glen Dean and The Allstars

    Glen Dean and The Allstars is a high octane 1950’s rock’n’roll and rockabilly cover band.

    Saturday 29th August | 8pm: On The Note

    Their setlist spans classic hits from the 1950s all the way to modern pop and rock anthems.

    SEPTEMBER

    Friday 4th September | 8pm: Stormy T & Bluesmans Lane

    Traditional rhythm and blues, jump and swing blues and classic blues and funk.

    Saturday 5th September | 8pm: DJ Kerri & Sax

    Join us for our DJ and sax night, dance tunes and party vibes all night long!

    Friday 11th September | 8pm: The Aerodynamics

    A five piece rock and pop covers band.

    Saturday 12th September | 8pm: Friends of Reason

    Known for performing upbeat, multi-instrumental renditions of well-known hits, ranging from classic folk laments to modern rock covers.
